Web design is a process where both client and the designer has to interact closely and share information freely.
Therefore, we believe it is very important for our clients to check whether we all understand the basics of web designing.

Are you impressed by those web sites that make an impact on the whole world by their vibrant web designs? and do you want to build a one for your organization? Good idea indeed! But before you start designing your site, you need to know- What is the point of your web site? What are the goals that you want to achieve through your site? Who will be the viewer of your site? Without knowing these basic things it would be difficult for you to create impressive web design. Then comes the next and important step i.e. web site design.

Here are a few things you need to keep in mind while designing your site.

Technology behind web design
Internet is all about the technology. Since the inception of internet, usually HTML or Hypertext Markup Language is used to build the web pages. Then arrived various scripting languages like ASP, JSP, PHP etc. that can be easily embedded into the HTML pages. These new technologies provide dynamic looks to the web sites and the sites' functional quality is also improved.

First and foremost is the Home Page
Home Page is like the face of your site. When you type the URL of a site (e.g. www.bizfab.com ) and press enter, the page that appears first is the home page. Your home page should say who you are what you are. By going through the home page users should get an idea of their benefits from your site. Without a good home page you cannot impress your viewers.

Content, graphic, color and font Content is your existence. The text of the page should be simple, correct, to the point and understandable. Remember, your content says everything about you and your organization. Beware that your site doesn't contain too lengthy content. Sometimes users find it boring and tend to leave the site.

Graphic is another important component to be placed in your site. There are so many instances where content is not enough. A related graphic can make the work easier. But don't insert too many graphics in one page, it often irritates the users.
Avoid huge graphics because it takes a long time to load, sometimes even hours. But if it happens that you cannot help, give a message to your visitors that the picture will take long time to load.

Be specific about the usage of color and font. Presence of too many colors and fonts can puzzle the browsers easily. Therefore it is always recommended to use 3-4 colors, font types and font sizes. Your intention is not to confuse your viewers but to comfort them.

Navigation is the key issue

People prefer internet because it is fast, time saving and easy to access. Assume that somebody is browsing your site, clicks on a link, and waits. After a long waiting the page doesn't appear. Why should he stick to your site? He will go away and find your competitor, some other site of same utility that can give him high speed browsing. Therefore be very watchful about your site navigation. You should provide fast and quick navigation system to enhance your site. Keep this view in mind that once a user enters your site, instead of leaving the site quickly, he should browse the whole site. Faster navigation system with good download speed is the key issue in designing any web site.

Once your site is built, test that all the links and buttons are working flawlessly. If clicking on a link takes your users to some other link, it straightly affects the image of your site. Don't let the users utter these words "worthless"; make them feel that your site is worthy. (With Bizfab, we always stick to above basic principles unless our client requests otherwise.)
